Dear Mr. and Mrs. Jones,
How are you doing today? We don’t know each other really well but if you took the chance to know me, I think we would get along just fine, become buddies or even best friends. My name is EXERCISE!
I hear you late at night when you tell each other (while watching infomercials) that you would love to lose some weight, have more energy, or have the confidence to walk around the beach shirtless or in a swimsuit.
I’m here to tell you that you can have those things! I would also like to introduce you to my friend NUTRITION.
Hi Mr. and Mrs. Jones, great to meet you I’m Nutrition and I also hear you each and every day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner saying I should really drink more water, eat more vegetables, and skip the fried food so I can feel better and have better hair, skin and nails, but yet you keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Now don’t get me wrong it is fine to have a treat every now and then (I know I sure do) but you can make improvements. You can! Before EXERCISE and I go we would like to introduce you to two more friends: SLEEP and STRESS
Hello Mr. and Mrs. Jones, we are sleep and stress and we also see you every day when you say I really need a day off of work, I’m so frustrated, I should go to bed earlier, I should really stop drinking caffeine so late at night, I should really turn the TV off and sleep instead of Netflix and chill, but you keep doing it. We are here to tell you that you can reduce your stress and improve your sleep if you want to, and we are here if you have questions.
Thank you for listening to me Exercise, me Nutrition, me Sleep, and me Stress Mr and Mrs. Jones we only wish you the best with a life of Perpetual Improvement. Goodbye!
The alarm clock starts ringing. Mr. Jones turns it off turns to Mrs. Jones and says I think I’m going to start my day off with a big cup of water, some eggs with lots of vegetables, and then do 20 push-ups and take a 20-minute walk. Would you like to join me?
Mrs. Jones said she would, and they started their path to a healthier life.
